Dr. Jaylin Miller, is a Louisiana Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) from Iowa, LA, chief executive officer of Axcelicare in Iowa, LA, providing primary care with an integrative approach to the people of southwest Louisiana. She has worked as a primary care FNP with a focus in wellness, nutrition, weight loss, hormone replacement, thyroid disease management, Type 2 Diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and overall whole-person care in Lake Charles, LA for the past 6 years. She is excited be home and bring her experience back to her community.

 

She initially attended McNeese State University, in Lake Charles, LA, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree in 2012. She worked at Christus St. Patrick Hospital in the Adult Intensive Care Unit, then House Supervisor while working on her doctorate degree. Jaylin then graduated with honors in 2017 with her Doctorate of Nursing Practice Degree, concentration Family Nurse Practitioner, from Loyola University New Orleans.

 

Jaylin is an active member of several professional organizations including American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

 

Jaylin and her husband Josh reside in Iowa, LA with their 3 children. They are active members of Iowa First Baptist Church. They enjoy being outdoors and spending time with family, friends, and their 3 dogs.
